The Purpose of Rotaract is to provide and opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development to address the physical and social needs of their communities and to promote better relations between all people world wide through a frame work of friendship and service.

In 1932, Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor created The Four-Way Test, a code of ethics adopted by Rotary 11 years later. The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions:

• Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

• Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
